Family Circle Learning Center
Family Circle Learning Center is a non-profit organization that believes children thrive in a safe environment that values their own uniqueness while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially physically, and cognitively. It is only when the child feels comfortable and safe that they can then begin to learn. By first building a foundation of consistency, safety, and love for each child we can then build upon each child’s strengths, inquisitiveness, and interests. Our teachers can then guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships while including families every step of the way.
Our mission is to serve all children and families. No child will be denied admission to the program on the basis of disability, race, age, creed, color, or national origin.
Early learning is the “root of success.” Since learning begins at birth, Family Circle Learning Center strives to provide experiences and opportunities to assist parents in providing a “good beginning” for their children. We believe that parents are their children’s most important teachers. To assist parents in becoming effective teachers, Family Circle Learning Center works with each family to build and strengthen their parenting skills. Family Circle Learning Center is committed to providing quality comprehensive services for the child and his/her total family. Activities are geared toward fostering the growth and development of children enrolled, involving parents in the program, and providing them with opportunities to enhance the understanding of early childhood practices and knowledge.
Our mission is to connect children and their families to community resources, support each child and their family, and ensure success from day one. We at FCLC focus on the whole child which includes providing a high emphasis on social and emotional learning as well as trauma-informed care and education to all children and families. This involves helping each child create a positive self-identity, creating a safe place for all children, and helping each child effectively deal with their own trauma or the trauma of a fellow classmate. Families are involved every step of the way.
